In the current Covid – 19 scenarios, a new Start-up has kickstarted a mobile application, aiming towards making the situation a little more convenient for the mass. Nagpur-based Trunk Lord Technologies Private Limited has come up with ‘Salonwaale’, an application dedicated mainly towards beauty and grooming, dealing with salons, beauty parlors, Mehendi parlors, body massages, and tattoos. Union Minister Sri Nitin J. Gadkari, MLA from Nagpur Maharashtra Sri Mohan Mate, and Ex-Nhavi Samaj President Sri Sudhakar (Bandu) Rout have together inaugurated this app last month which is slated to bring a revolutionary change in the market that it is about to operate in.

This is essentially a booking application where customers can check the timings and available slots of the salons, parlors, etc. which they want to visit and make an informed decision on when to visit in order to avoid the crowd. This will not only make the experience hassle-free and convenient for the customers but also ensure the safety and convenience of the salon owners. In fact, you will also have the flexibility to choose your preferred staff or expert at the parlor or the salon prior to your visit and make sure you don’t have to return empty-handed. In this dire health situation when social distancing is the keyword of safety, this can prove to be a game-changer as far as the beauty industry is concerned. Lesser crowds will mean better time management, improved quality of services, and of course better safety.

This app will also keep note of the sanitary practices and cleanliness of the salons so that the customers can have an idea beforehand and take their pick based on the above information. It will also try to tell you which Covid-19 protocols and guidelines are being followed and where so that you don’t have to worry about Covid infection while you are taking that long-overdue haircut or pedicure.

Salonwaale has also kept in mind the ‘budget factor’ and therefore has a number of pocket–friendly schemes which will help them cater to customers from various financial backgrounds to avail their services without a hassle.

There is absolutely no doubt that the beauty industry had taken a hit with the onset of the whole Covid-19 scenario. The continuous lockdowns and restrictions imposed by the Government to contain the Covid-19 infections had forced people to stay back home and kept them away from parlors, salons, etc for a very long time, which automatically spelled ruin for many small businesses. Now that the restrictions have been loosened, people have once again started going to these places keeping in mind the safety protocols. The Salonwaale app will go a long way in helping the beauty industry gain back on the lost momentum and gradually get back to normalcy.
